Tuesday’s tidbit: Queue/Cue

Sure, they sound exactly the same, but they mean two completely different things.

  • Queue (noun): a file or line, esp. of people waiting their turn.
  • Cue (noun): anything that excites to action; stimulus.

Context clues, people!
